Brief about Classification:
Classification contractors Committee carries out issuing of classification certificates for contracting companies for categories;building,building maintenance ,roads,drainage and water,after reviewing contractor's documents pertaining
technical and administrative staff, equipment, capital and previous experience.
Accordingly the contractor is assessed and given the suitable grade
for each category as per points accumulated.
Scope of work:
All authenticated companies working in state of Qatar and registered at CTC records,shall follow these procedures including international contracting companies with authorized local agent in
Qatar.
Steps:
Phase I: receiving companies files.
Phace II: data entry.
Phase III: Adoption and approval of inputs.
Phase IV: Contractor's data evaluation and reviewing by classification committee's members.
Phase V: Final assessment and decision by CTC members.
Phase VI : Classification certificate issuance by Committee secretariat. |
